The Öschberghof hotel resort is undergoing a visionary transition. Further development and guest-oriented optimisation have been continuous companions throughout the history of our house ever since the cornerstone ceremony took place in 1976. Our golf course is no exception and, on completion of the conversion project, will consist of 45 holes (East Course, Old Course and the 9-hole Academy Course) with 2 x Par 72 and 1 x Par 34. Not to mention the redevelopment of the driving range and caddy hall and the construction of a new building for the Golf Academy. The points for expanding the generous programme at Öschberghof have been set.

Golf-, SPA- and Convention Resort Öschberghof

It makes no difference whether you come to our resort on business or for a relaxing holiday with SPA, golf and culinary highlights: you will always enjoy the benefits of a high-class Golf-, SPA- and Convention Resort. Browse through our website and be inspired by our offers and news. Allow us to extend a warm welcome to the outskirts of Donaueschingen, near Bad Dürrheim in the Black Forest.

We can think of no better place in Germany to spend the perfect holiday than embedded in the gentle, rolling hills of the Baar plateau. Feel at home in one of our exclusively furnished rooms and enjoy the culinary delights served by our five restaurants.

Our Öventhütte at the golf course is full of rustic charm. Enjoy alpine specialities in a quaint and cosy ambience. High-quality Italian specialities await you at the Ristorante and Pizzeria Hexenweiher with and exclusive area for all members, even those who are coming to play for a day. International food is served in our Esszimmer and Haute Cuisine with international and Asian components is served in our Fine-Dining restaurant Osch Noir.

The East Course added another 18 holes to our existing facilities in May 2017. The open terrain is visually characterised by richly structured hedges and solitary trees. The characteristics of the key-shaped terrain topography are similar to a links course, making the course an incomparable masterpiece not only because of its intelligent layout.

The view from the 10th tee is breath-taking. Here, the horizon seems infinitely far away. The fabulous panoramic view stretches over wide expanses of our golf landscape far into the lush countryside and towards the Feldberg.

This course dates back to 1975. We have cared for and nurtured our jewel every year since then. Little by little, we are giving the 18-hole Old Course a modernising facelift.

The redesign will be finalised by golf course architect Christoph Städler. The discerning 18-hole course is based on a park landscape with a varied wood stock and will be fully playable as of spring 2018.

The largely flat topography is easily mastered on foot with little effort..

Measuring just under 2,500 metres in length, our Academy Course is especially suitable for a quick round of golf. An extensive variation of greens and surrounding areas ensure an extremely high fun factor. Its 9 holes are very playable and offer ample room for birdies and numerous opportunities for pars.

The 6th hole with its rounded, mowed semi-roughs in the middle of the fairway is an absolute eye-catcher and probably the only one of its kind in the world. Are you wondering what it’s all about? The semi-roughs indicate two prehistoric burial mounds that are subject to the protection of historical ground monuments.
